Maria Nerantzaki

Works in the European Commission

Maria Nerantzaki is the head and founder of the HICD branch in Belgium, based in Brussels. Ms. Neratzaki was born in Thessaloniki and grew up in Brussels. She attended the European School in Brussels where he obtained the European Baccalaureate.

 

She was then admitted to the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki where she studied Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies with a focus on politics and foreign relations. At the same time, she attended a professional dance study program and, later, worked as a dance teacher in schools in Thessaloniki, a competition dance coach and a dancer in the production of the State Theater of Northern Greece, Alexander the Great Rock Opera .

 

She then moved to Brussels where he completed two years of postgraduate studies in the Department of Political Science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, majoring in geopolitics. At the same time, she completed her internship at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the European Union, in the department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She currently works at the General Secretariat of the European Commission. She also works as a choreographer, dancer and performer in international classical ballet academies, international companies and groups. She speaks English, French, Russian and Romanian.
