Georgia Kouvela – Piquet is the head of the branch of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy in Paris. Ms. Kouvela-Piquet is a Lawyer in Paris and Athens.

Lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association since 1996 and of the Paris Bar Association since 1998, Georgia KOUVELA – PIQUET is the founder of the Greek-French office. Bachelor of Private Law, Postgraduate Diploma in International Law and University Degree in European Law from the French University II of Lille, deals with Business Law domestically and internationally.

The main activities of her office are Private International Law, Labor Law, Civil Liability Law, Injury Law, International Commercial Law, Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law.

Her activities include both litigation and the provision of legal advice to individuals, but also, as a consultant, to international organizations such as the International Dance Council (CID), an international NGO based in Paris under the auspices of UNESCO, and in domestic and international commercial enterprises whose activities are located in the industrial sector, transport, education, energy, food, real estate, tourism and human rights.

Georgia Kouvela – PIQUET is a member of the Hellenic-French Chamber of Commerce, the French Bar Association ANADAVI (Association of Lawyers for Compensation for Accidents), the French Organization for the Support of Judges of the Commercial Court and the French Commercial Court. 

In 2005, Georgia KOUVELA – PIQUET co-founded with the Greek office SOLDATOS & ASSOCIATES Brussels and the Cypriot office PAFEAS & ASSOCIATES, the international network of Greek lawyers abroad EURONOMOS based in. After teaching constitutional law and international relations law at the University of Lille II as well as at the Catholic University of Lille (1996-2000), Georgia KOUVELA-PIQUET taught at Universities and Grandes Ecoles, International Law (MBA). in Management and Business Law, at the Higher School of Management in Paris) as well as the Law of International Arbitration and Mediation (an MBA which specializes in International Business Law at New York College, Athens) and in the Law of the INTERNATIONAL CONTRACTS on the master on the RIGHTS OF BUSINESSES, Graduate School Management, Grande Ecole (Paris).

From 2005 until today, she is the Legal Advisor of the INTERNATIONAL DANCE COUNCIL (IDC). Georgia KOUVELA-PIQUET regularly intervenes as a speaker in seminars and conferences dealing with French-Greek Comparative Law and the international legal relations that develop between Greek-French entities: indicatively, the theme of ” at the French Center for International Trade (Paris, 1999, 2000), a conference on “Co-ownership in Europe” organized by the Association of Co-owners in Europe (ACE Sénat, Paris, 2007), at the Conference on “H International taxation and the Greek crisis “held at the Sorbonne with the Rector Mr. Fortsakis as interlocutor, at the Conference on” Mediation in business (Athens, Hellenic-French Chamber, 2012), the Conference with the theme being « The public works and the greek crisis « (Athens, Chamber of Industry 2013) as well as interventions on television shows such as «24H Chrono de l’international » dedicated to Athens on TV5 MONDE (Paris, 2008).
